About this Event

“When the World Goes Silent… What's left to fear?”

Inspired by Daphne du Maurier’s haunting short story—the same tale that sparked Alfred Hitchcock’s iconic 1963 film—The Birds is a gripping psychological thriller that asks what happens when the natural world turns fatally against us. In the wake of sudden, unexplainable bird attacks sweeping across the globe, strangers Diane and Nat take refuge in an isolated lakeside house, clinging to the hope that its boarded windows and dim rooms can keep them alive. Their uneasy sanctuary is soon unsettled by the arrival of Julia, a young woman whose motives are uncertain and whose presence threatens the fragile balance within their barricaded shelter.

As days blur into a tense new reality, desperation mounts, resources dwindle, and the relentless beating of wings outside grows impossible to ignore. Paranoia and fear twist their alliances, forcing each of them to confront a chilling question: is the true danger circling in the skies—or festering inside the house?

Marking the Central Valley premiere of this tense, atmospheric drama, The Birds features performances from Kate Peck, Jorge Romero Vaca, Seren Lake, and Steven Kairuz. Produced & directed by Diego J. Sosa (Misery, God of Carnage), The Birds delivers a haunting, edge-of-your-seat theatrical experience you won’t soon forget.
