About this Event
Football has become a powerful bridge between Mexico and the United States β connecting communities, cultures, and generations on both sides of the border. What were once two distinct sporting traditions have evolved into a shared passion that continues to unite fans through rivalry, celebration, and community.
Arizona State University, the Universidad de Guadalajara, the Consulate General of Mexico in Los Angeles, and Victory House invite you to an unforgettable evening celebrating the cultural ties between the United States and Mexico through football, film, and storytelling.
The evening will feature an engaging conversation exploring the evolving relationship between the two countries through the lens of the beautiful game, followed by screenings of the award-winning short films from the third edition of the Kaleidoscope Binational Short Film Contest. Created by emerging filmmakers, these powerful films capture themes of identity, inclusion, teamwork, and the unifying spirit of sport across borders.
Following the program, continue the celebration on the rooftop terrace with tacos, drinks, music, and community as we honor the shared passion that brings us together.
