Ready for some ultimate fashion freedom? Welcome to The Big Swap—our first gender-neutral clothes swap event happening at Blend Coffee Shop in Sneinton Market!
This isn't about rigid categories or targeted sections. It’s all about expressing yourself and wearing what you love, regardless of labels. Whether you're looking to completely overhaul your style or just find a few unique pieces, this is your invitation to refresh your wardrobe sustainably without spending an extra penny.
WHAT'S WHAT
The Rules & Timeline
- The Swap Limit: You can bring and take away up to 10 items. We accept clothing, shoes, and accessories that are in great condition. (Sorry, we can't accept nightwear, underwear, or jewellery).
- 6:00 PM – 7:00 PM: Drop your items at the roadside entrance to Blend.
- 6:45 PM (ish): Hear from our Guest Partners! Grab your drink and gather round to hear from the brilliant team at Nottingham as they share insights into their circular initiatives and brand values.
- 7:00 PM (ish): The Swap opens!
Tickets & Refreshments
- Price: £14 per person
- Your Ticket Includes: A delicious hot or cold drink on arrival!
- Food & Drink: Blend make a fantastic selection of cakes, pastries, and savoury light bites available for purchase all night, and they have plenty more drinks to go at if you choose to linger!
*Please be aware, seating may be limited during swap prep, but it's spring and we're hoping you can spill outside and lap up some good weather.
Alternatively - grab your drink on the move and check out this cool part of town with a couple of bars including Neon Raptor a step away, The Bath Inn opposite in all its gorgeous decdance, or grab some street food from Bustlers next door.
All items left over at the end of the event are donated to charity White Rose for resale in their stores supporting work to raise awareness, build peace and prevent genocide.
The Big Swap is all about making sustainable fashion options available to all sizes. We feel passionate about size inclusion giving all swappers the chance to shop responsibly and reduce their environmental impact.
