What is The Big Run? It's a free, breezy community 5K on Global Running Day celebrating 50 years of Fleet Feet, and the running community we love. This year's event will take place on Wednesday, June 3, 2026, at 6:30 PM.
Since day one, it's been about good shoes, good friends and good miles. Celebrate Global Running Day with Fleet Feet x Brooks at a community 5K that honors the past and runs toward what's next. Cross the finish line, then stick around for the post-run festivities. All paces are welcome.
Stick around after for a full-on community celebration—Sacramento’s run clubs will be out in force with pop-ups, DJs will be bringing the energy along the course, and there will be free t-shirts and free food for everyone. Think community picnic…but for runners.
