The much-loved BIG Plant Sale returns on Saturday 2 May 2026, taking place this year at its new venue, Narberth CP School.Now in its 33rd year, the BIG Plant Sale remains one of the most anticipated dates in Pembrokeshire’s gardening calendar. For many, it marks the true start of spring — a long-standing tradition that continues to bring the community together year after year.
The event raises vital funds for Span Arts, dedicated to delivering inspiring arts experiences and performances for communities across Pembrokeshire.
Visitors travel from across West Wales and beyond to browse an outstanding selection of plants from expert growers, enjoy informative horticultural talks, and soak up the friendly, festival-style atmosphere. Alongside the plant stalls, the day features live music, excellent local food and drink, and all the colour, scent and energy that have made the event such a favourite.
A vibrant eco craft area will showcase a curated selection of local designers and makers, with stalls offering textiles, floristry, natural remedies and more.
Growers will offer an impressive range of flowers, herbs and vegetable plants, alongside specialist stock including bamboos, pond plants, succulents and cacti. Often described as “the start of the summer social season”, the BIG Plant Sale attracts visitors from across the three counties for a diverse, welcoming and fun-filled day.
This is a family-friendly community event with something for everyone, including live music, delicious local produce and plenty to keep children entertained.
Span Arts warmly welcomes plant donations for its own stall, garden-related prizes and volunteers to help make the event a success. All support helps sustain arts events and community outreach projects across the county.
