Cumbria Arts & Culture Network: Big Meet

Coffee from 9.30am, Meeting 10am - 2pm, lunch included.
The Big Meet will be followed, at 2pm, by a Creative Careers industry event.
This exciting day is co-produced by Cumbria Arts and Culture Network and the University of Cumbria, as part of Discover! Creative Careers week.
During our Big Meet we’ll be asking: How can we help young people to build a creative career in Cumbria? We’ll hear from a range of speakers of all ages all interested in the subject and offering different perspectives on the challenges and solutions. Whether you’re a creative freelancer or work for an organisation, whatever age you might be, we’d love you to attend.
Please join us for tea and coffee from 9.30am onwards. The event will start at 10am and continue until 1:30pm when you are welcome to join us for lunch. Vegan, Vegetarian and gluten free options will be available, please contact us with any specific dietary requirements at: [email protected]
We ask you to ‘pay what you can’ for the Big Meet, with a range of contribution options available.
The Creative Careers Industry event in the afternoon, organised by the University of Cumbria, will be aimed at students looking to break into creative industries and young people, aged 14 upwards, curious about a creative career. The event is designed to inspire and provide a unique opportunity to connect with people working in the creative industries and to explore exciting career paths within the sector.
