🎉 Big Lime Open Water Swims Return to Hartlepool Marina 🎉
We’re excited to announce the return of the popular Big Lime Open Water Swims at Hartlepool Marina on Sunday 9th August 2026!
🌊 Whether you’re trying your first open water swim or are an experienced swimmer, this event welcomes all levels. With a dedicated water safety team and first aid on site, you can swim with confidence knowing you’re in safe hands.

We also host The Big Lime Triathlons
🏊♂️ Wetsuit Policy
Water temperatures in August are expected to be warm enough that wetsuits aren’t required, but we recommend wearing one for comfort and safety.
⏱️ Timing
Live chip-timing will be provided by Timing Up North for all swimmers.
🎖️ The Finish
All finishers will receive:
An event medal
Wild Deer merchandise
A snack and a drink

Free parking is available for all participants at Hartlepool Marina.
