Come along with all the family to kick-start the festive season at our Big Christmas Lights Switch On Event.
This year's event will take place on Thursday 21st Nov from 7.00pm in front of the Irish Linen Centre & Lisburn Museum with lots of entertainment before and after so you can enjoy a full evening in Lisburn. With walkabout characters, interactive entertainment, market stalls and illuminations, there will be something for everyone to enjoy.
Santa and the Mayor will be on stage for the official light switch on at 7.30pm. Following this an Enchanted Lantern Walk will leave Market Square and make its way up and through Castle Gardens.
This free event is sure to be a truly magical night of festive fun for all. No booking necessary.
Taking place in Market Square, Lisburn on Thursday 17th November from 6.30pm.
This magical family event will kick-start the festive season with the big Christmas Parade featuring princesses, Christmas Characters, magical creations and of course a special appearance from Santa Claus as well as local schoolchildren with their festive lanterns. There will be music from Dynamic Brass and Harmony Hill Primary School and the special lantern parade with local schoolchildren and the Mayor will switch-on the lights.
