Something very special is coming to Llyn Brenig…
For the FIRST TIME, there will be an open water swim event in this incredible lake — and it’s exclusive to Love SwimRun.
Introducing The Big Brenig Swim
This is the only opportunity each year to swim any distance in Llyn Brenig. As a working reservoir, swimming isn’t normally allowed (apart from a very small designated sauna area), making this a truly rare experience.
And we’re keeping it special…
🔥 Limited to just 300 swimmers 🔥

🏊 1km
🏊 2.5km
🏊 5km
Wetsuit and non-wetsuit places are available!
Junior entires (age 8-15) are available in the 500m and 1km swims.
