Inspired by the vibrant social world of Mary Duke Biddle, whose Linden Court estate was a setting for fashionable gatherings and spirited entertaining during the 1920s, The Biddle Tea Experience celebrates the elegance, hospitality, and lively atmosphere of the Jazz Age. Discover an era defined by dazzling fashion, music, dancing, and elaborate entertaining, when grand estates served as settings for sophisticated social gatherings.

Set within the historic Biddle Mansion, the experience begins with a complimentary welcome pour of our house champagne or a non-alcoholic alternative for each guest. From there, guests will enjoy a specially themed afternoon tea service featuring delicate tea sandwiches, freshly baked scones, petite desserts, and a selection of fine loose-leaf teas. An engaging program will explore the social traditions, changing customs, and vibrant culture of the Roaring Twenties, offering a fascinating glimpse into the celebrations and lifestyles that defined this remarkable decade.

Guests are encouraged to embrace the occasion with 1920s-inspired attire!

Tea service will feature fine loose-leaf selections from Puddings and Biscakes, including one black tea and one herbal tea, served with milk, sweeteners, honey, sugar cubes, and raw sugar.
