Featuring Charles Durning as the governor of Texas and Dom DeLuise as a TV reporter hellbent on shutting down the ranch for good in a timeless tale of good-time partiers going toe-to-toe with some notorious sticks in the mud. The musical numbers are plentiful and lively, the chemistry between Parton and Reynolds palpable, and the whole thing is good clean/dirty fun.
