Long before Tai Chi, there was Qigong. Qigong is the ancient Chinese form of movement that connects the Mental/Emotional body, with the Spiritual and Physical Body of each person. 'Qi' means energy or life force and 'Gong' means work or skill. Qigong is the practice of mind, body, and spirit in coordinated movement with breath and concentration to energize and heal the body. This is an active form of guided meditation for all people of all faiths and beliefs. Medical Qigong focuses on different parts and organs of the body to establish vibrant health. Kac Young has a PhD in Natural Health, a Doctorate in Naturopathy, and a Doctorate in Clinical Hypnotherapy. She is a former television producer/director, a screenwriter, a licensed Religious Science Minister, a spiritual counselor, and the author of 29 books. She began her journey with Qigong in 2005 and became a certified Medical Qigong Teacher three years later. Along with Qigong philosophy and movement, she also practices Tai Chi and Yoga.
