We sure are excited to announce that we're coming back to play where it all started! Join us for what is sure to be a crazy night! You heard us right, we're coming back to the lovely dirty gem we call home. This beauty has been standing strong through out the test of time. You guessed it! We're talking about none other than Ventura's favorite dive - The Sewer - Sans Souci!
We're going hard for this one, and we would expect nothing less from y'all!
D.on Darox & The Melody Joy Bakers play original music combining Americana, roots, blues, and swampy jazz. They feel at home putting on unexpected street shows, just as much as they enjoy playing whiskey lounges, grand theaters and run down abused halls across America. Their shows have won the hearts of the youth, the aged, and those lost and inebriated somewhere in between.
Since their inception D.on Darox & The Melody Joy Bakers have forged an extensive history of performing on many stages and streets, across the United State and have shared stages with other amazing artists such as Sharon Jones & The Dap Kings, Dustbowl Revival, and Black Joe Lewis and have a history of opening for other great acts such as Reverend Horton Heat, The Legendary Shack Shakers, and The God Damn Gallows just to name a few. They've played Austin's SxSW, and played in New Orleans during French Quarter Fest and have been featured performers at the California Jazz and Wine Fest and the Ink N Iron festival.
