The first event kicks off on the June long weekend, Sunday 8th June 2025, at the historic North Sydney Oval where the mighty North Sydney Bears will take on the formidable Penrith Panthers. This mouth-watering clash is set to ignite the famous ground and for the first time ever, the Beer Footy Food will have its first taste of International Rugby league!! Watch this space for curtain raiser details featuring some of our finest emerging nations teams.
But it's not just about the footy! The festival will feature an impressive lineup of 15+ craft brewers, food trucks and vendors that fans have come to love, along with a dedicated Kids Activities area to keep the little ones entertained.
DJs will be spinning tunes throughout the day, and for the first time ever, the half-time entertainment will feature the legendary Beer Mile – a brand new spectacle not to be missed! It's the perfect way to cap off your long weekend with family and friends.
