About this Event
The Beatles released The White Album in 1968 but never played any of the songs live. By the time the album came out, the band had retired from live performances. Aside from a spontaneous rooftop performance at their recording studio in London while recording the album “Let It Be,” Beatles fans never got to hear them play live again.
SPMA has painstakingly transcribed and arranged The Beatles White Album “In Its Entirety,” for Rhythm Section, Strings, Woodwinds, Brass, Percussion, & Choir. Very “Special Guests Musicians,” from the Sacramento Area, SRJC & Santa Rosa, have collaborated for this concert in an effort to support The SPMA Guitar Project & the iHeartMusic.Org Scholarship Fund, which helps to bring music education, and guitar programs to underserved schools.
The Beatles “White Album,” will feature our Master of Ceremonies: Peter Petty.
Also, Local Greats: Rick Fulkerson & his daughter Melissa Fulkerson
This is the benefit show, of all benefit shows, reaching out to grab Santa Rosa; a sign that the Beatles will live on forever. It’s your chance to witness one of the greatest pages in Beatles history played live; with more than 40 musicians taking the stage, the Entire White Album will unfold before you from start to finish. This will quite possibly be the rarest of rare, musical performances in Santa Rosa all year, as it is no small feat to perform The Beatles White Album.
