The Bean Bonanza Cooking Class for Tweens (ages 10-13)

Welcome to the Bean Bonanza! Join us and discover the bean-efits of cooking with beans. Who knew beans could be…a superpower food!? We did - and we’ll teach you how beans can add so much taste, texture, and deliciousness to each bite.

We’re making:

• Crispy Chickpeas: These crunchy little guys are a snack that you won't be able to stop munching on!
• Black Bean Brownies (take home): Decadent, chocolatey, and packed with hidden goodness! *Recipe contains milk
• Pintos & Cheese Tortilla Triangles (with salsa to dip): A MHK favorite! A cheesy, beany delight that will make your taste buds do the salsa! *Recipe contains milk and wheat

This class is open to tweens ages 10-13. This is a drop off class. Children will be asked to respect our behavior expectations during class.

We work hard to accommodate children with food allergies. Please email us at [email protected] if your child has allergies. We will do our absolute best to work to accommodate if we are able. One week advanced notice is required.

What’s included in the workshop ticket?

• Admission for 1 child (aged 10-13). Each participating child needs their own ticket.
• All tools and ingredients needed to make our recipes
• Three recipes to try with the option to take leftovers home
• A fun and enriching experience for your kid chef!
