The Basics of Pruning

Homeowners, gardeners, and anyone interested in improving the health and appearance of their landscape are invited to join Clemson Extension Horticulture Agents Samantha Brown and Stephanie Turner for a hands-on pruning workshop. Participants will learn the basic principles of proper pruning for both ornamental and fruit trees, including when and how to prune, how to make correct cuts, and how to promote healthy growth and strong tree structure. The session will include live demonstrations and guided practice using a variety of pruning tools.
