The Basics of Art and Design Foundations Workshop

This foundational workshop is designed to introduce participants to the core building blocks of art and design in a clear, engaging, and practical way. You’ll learn how art works, why it works, and how these concepts can be applied far beyond the classroom.

The class is taught by a professional art educator (Jessie) with a BFA in Art Education and a minor in Art History. Instruction is approachable, confidence-building, and focused on real-world application.

• How to use and understand the color wheel
• How these concepts apply in real life—art, floral design, home décor, marketing, photography, and everyday creativity
