The Bank: Weekly Writers' Rooms & Feedback Sessions for Scripted Comedy

Big Couch is excited to offer The Bank - part writer’s room, part peer feedback, part prep for the stage - for those interested writing sketch comedy to be produced on the stage.

Every Monday, anyone can join one or both parts of the The Bank sessions:

6:30 to 7:30 pm - Writer’s Room with a quick “lesson,” writing prompt, and pitches with some time for writing. This part of the session is “pay what you can” with the funds going to the evening’s facilitators

7:30 to 9 pm - Peer Feedback session where writers can read through their first draft sketches and get feedback from others in the group. This session is free.

We are offering both sessions in a hybrid format, which means participants can join us in the Big Couch lobby or attend via Google Meet. Those coming in person should bring their own laptops, and free wifi is available.
