The Ballad of Wallis Island is a “fresh and big-hearted comedy” set on a remote Welsh island and follows an eccentric, widowed millionaire and his love of a now-disbanded folk duo. The former members of the folk duo (Tom Basden and Carey Mulligan) are enticed to the island for a private recital and the promise of a large payout if they can just perform one last time! When unresolved history threatens to break up the duo before their single performance, comedy chaos ensues. With a bagful of film awards and even more nominations, The Ballad of Wallis Island is a perfect night out and we hope will bring a bit of joy to your Saturday night.
