New England's premier OLD SCHOOL FUNK band. Originally formed in 2011 by trumpeter Eric 'Benny' Bloom (now of 'LETTUCE'), The AUTOCRATS are a high-energy, 10 piece, horn driven, funk-dance band comprised of the area's top professional musicians and recording artists. Drawing inspiration from 70s FUNK, SOUL and R&B, The AUTOCRATS perform songs from many different artists, including: PARLIAMENT FUNKADELIC, OHIO PLAYERS, GAP BAND, EARTH, WIND & FIRE, JAMES BROWN, CAMEO, RICK JAMES, KOOL & THE GANG and many more.
