Native Texan Ben Atkins has spent the last eight years wowing audiences from South America to Texas to Norway with his unique story-telling Americana-fusion, and now, after getting married and moving to Trondheim (2022), he's got a new group to help spread the Gospel of Good Times. The Atkins Tent Revival's sound is defined by a vast breadth of influences: from blues, soul, gospel, ranchera, country, folk, and bluegrass to hip-hop, psychedelia and punk, audiences can expect to be surprised by the extraordinary range of genres, styles, and stories on display at a Tent Revival show. The new Trønder lineup includes lead guitar wizard Ulf Lindgren, Trude Heggstad on keyboard, Aasmund Sivertsen funkin’ things up on bass, and Eirik Fagerslett on drums.
Though relatively new to Trondheim's Americana and Rock scene, the group has already blown minds at sold-out shows and festivals around town (Moskus, Antikvariatet, Habitat, Lokal, Eat The Rich ’24), and will be releasing their first album – Norwegian Brown Cheese Vol. II: Sincerely Yours – in December 2024. The album is an eclectic selection of folk, rock, gospel, and psychedelic elements that move seamlessly between songs for Atkins’ new child and adjusting to life in a new country, to existential ponderings and departed friends, to political protest and back again, lending vibrant and vigorous life to these intensely personal stories-like-letters.

The band is currently working on their second full length album speckled with catchy melodies, country licks and rock'n'roll kicks.
Armed with acoustic and electric guitars, swampy banjos and thundering drums, this noisy blackgrass band plays folky rock tunes with punk attitude.
