The Astrology Connection: Mars and the Sun

The Astrology Connection is a monthly, teacher-led astrology gathering blending guided teaching, thoughtful conversation, and live chart examples drawn from the group.

Each month, we explore a central astrological archetype and how it operates psychologically and symbolically within the birth chart. This is not a formal course, and not an open sharing circle — it’s a held, facilitated space for learning astrology through dialogue, reflection, and real chart application.

For our May gathering, we’ll be working with the Sun and Mars — the core of vitality, will, and instinct in the birth chart. The Sun represents our central life force and sense of self, while Mars acts as its henchman — the part of us that takes action, protects, pursues desire, and moves us forward in the world.

Together, they reveal how we harness our inner masculine: how we assert ourselves, follow instinct, channel motivation, and learn to work with our energy rather than against it.

Held at Evolve Academy, this gathering aligns with the school’s theme of celebration, inviting us to reconnect with confidence, agency, and the joy of being fully alive in our own skin.

During our time together, Margi will:

• Teach the core symbolism and meaning of the Sun and Mars
• Explore how instinct, drive, and purpose function psychologically in the birth chart
• Use live chart examples from attendees to illustrate motivation, desire, and self-expression
• Facilitate guided discussion around channeling energy in healthy, aligned ways

No prior astrology knowledge is required.
