About this Event
iHRT❤️LIBERIA:
Evening of Film, History & Healing
As we prepare to return to Liberia for Phase 2 of the Mental Health Infrastructure Pilot, we’re inviting our friends, family, and community to come closer to the story.
Join GeeBee Productions, in partnership with the Institute for Healing Racial Trauma (iHRT) and The Relationship Clinic (TRC), for a special screening of GeeBee’s Tolbert documentary at Kingsmen Café.
Liberia carries stories that have shaped generations—but many of those stories remain untold, misunderstood, or unexplored. And what happens to a nation when trauma, history, identity, and healing intersect?
We believe the stories we tell—and the stories we choose to uncover—matter to the mental health of a nation.
This evening is an opportunity to learn, listen, connect, and invest in the work of changing the narrative for generations to come.
Come experience a story you may not have heard.Come understand why it matters.Come be part of what’s next.
