The Artivism Project: Activism through Art

Join us in person for The Artivism Project, where creativity meets activism! You will be creating a simple yet powerful artistic piece that is inspired by the change you want to see in the community around you. Not only will it just be put on display, but it will also shared with local decision makers! Whether you're an artist, activist, or just curious, this event is all about using art to make a difference. Come meet passionate youth like yourself, explore bold ideas, and see how art can be a powerful tool for activism. Don't miss this unique chance to get inspired and get involved!

This cohort is designed for youth who are ready to engage and deserve a platform that is ready for them.

We especially welcome:

• Youth ages 12–18
• Newcomer and immigrant youth
• Racialized, Black, Indigenous and equity-seeking youth
• LGBTQ+ youth
• Disabled and neurodivergent youth
• Economically marginalized youth
• Emerging artists, writers, organizers, students and civic creatives
• Young people navigating identity, migration, belonging and community change
• Youth who already care about social issues and want to deepen that engagement through creativity

You do not need to call yourself an artist or activist to join. If you care about your community, your story and your future, this space is for you.
