Have you ever gone caroling? Do you love to belt out your favorite tunes during the Holiday Season? Well, Ho Ho Hold on to your stocking caps and head on over to Red Wing's Elks Lodge at 306 W 4th St to get your jingle on!
Leading the fun will be Erin Marcks and her ukulele!
Singing begins at 7pm, doors open at 6:30. $10 suggested donation at the door. Beverages will be available for purchase.
Here's a little information about Erin:
Erin K. Marcks is a self-taught guitar and ukulele player. She has been playing guitar for 50 years, and ukulele for 10 years.
In 2023, Erin created the local, ukulele group called the Lake PUPs (Lake Pepin Ukulele Players). The Lake PUPs are a group of ukulele players of all ability levels who simply like to play together and have fun.
Most days you can find Erin playing ukulele and singing, or dabbling in some kind of creative endeavor.
Erin says, "There is just something about a ukulele that makes a person smile. It's the happiest little instrument ever."
This activity is made possible by the voters of Minnesota through a grant from the Southeastern Minnesota Arts Council thanks to a legislative appropriation from the arts & cultural heritage fund.
