FEATURED ARTIST: Eddie Inkfish
Eddie has been creating art for as long as he can remember. As a child, instead of simply coloring pictures in books, he was drawn to recreating them by hand. Inspired by Fun Pads and Highlights magazine, his passion for making art started early. Though he had a few influential art teachers over the years, Eddie is mostly self-taught. He works in mixed media, using acrylics, watercolors, and colored pencils. He’s known for his vivid use of color and for the way he tells stories through his art. Influenced by artists like Picasso, Degas, Modigliani, and Dali—and especially the Impressionist period—Eddie creates pieces that reflect his love of nature and music. For Eddie, each piece is a story waiting to be told. His work often includes layers of meaning and small details hidden in plain sight. It’s his way of inviting others into a world of his own—one filled with feeling, curiosity, and color.
