The Art of Wet Felting

Join us for a fun and creative wet felting workshop! In this two-hour session, local artist Pauline Lyders will guide you through the ancient craft of wet felting at Casa De Stela in downtown. You’ll create an 8" x 8" flat felt collage using wool roving in natural and dyed colors, along with yarns and fabric remnants.

Wet felting involves warm water, natural soap, and plenty of hand agitation to bind and shrink the wool fibers. Wear comfortable clothing that allows free arm movement—long sleeves should be easy to roll up.

No experience is necessary, and all skill levels are welcome! Children ages 7 and up may attend with an accompanying adult. Don’t miss this opportunity to explore a new craft and express your creativity!
