Designed for yoga teachers of all levels, this day-long intensive explores one of the most essential skills of teaching: learning to truly see your students. Through guided practice, discussion, and hands-on exploration, you’ll refine your ability to read the physical and energetic patterns in the body and offer skillful, supportive assists—both hands-on and hands-off.
Led by senior teacher Jennifer French (E-RYT 500, YACEP), this immersive training offers a grounded, experiential approach to observing bodies in motion, understanding what you see, and responding with clarity, creativity, and confidence. You’ll leave with practical tools you can bring directly into your classes.
During our time together, you will:
• Sharpen your observation skills to understand alignment, movement patterns, and subtle energetic cues.
• Explore hands-on and hands-off assists that offer clarity, support, and empowerment.
• Apply what you learn immediately through practical teaching exercises.
• Receive individualized feedback to refine your teaching voice and approach.

This workshop is part of The Yoga Sanctuary’s Mentorship Program and taken on its own, is eligible for Continuing Education hours with the Yoga Alliance.
While designed with yoga teachers in mind, this workshop is also open to dedicated yoga practitioners who wish to deepen their understanding of the practice or explore the possibility of becoming a teacher in the future.
