We (Liz and Rahul) are excited to share our love for Tango in the Comox Valley. It is a dance that is very dear to us, and we hope you will join us and try it out!✨ Why Tango?
For anyone unfamiliar with social tango, it’s a bit different from what you might have seen in movies or tango shows. Social tango is not about flashy moves or dramatic performances; it’s a social dance focused on connection, communication, and presence.
In tango, you dance close to a partner in a gentle embrace and it is really about moving in sync with someone else rather than putting on a show. It’s perfect for anyone who wants to explore movement through connection rather than choreography.

🤝 Come with a partner or alone
While we recommend you bring a friend or partner, so that we have an even number of couples dancing, please feel free to come alone.
💃 About the classes
Each class is standalone, so you can drop in whenever you like. Just bring a pair of socks with you and you will be all set. NO DANCE EXPERIENCE required.
Price:
Classes are by donation—pay what you can, when you can, if you can.
