About this Event

The Art of Surrender is the debut solo exhibition by Andrew T. Tsao, marking his final exhibition in Brooklyn before returning to Taiwan after twelve years in New York.

Through a powerful collection of abstract ink and mixed-media works, Tsao reflects on identity, ancestry, healing, grief, and the search for belonging. Created over years of personal transformation, the exhibition explores what becomes possible when we slow down, let go of expectations, and learn to listen to ourselves with greater honesty and compassion.

Join us for an evening of art, conversation, and reflection as we celebrate this meaningful milestone in the artist’s journey. Whether you are drawn to contemporary abstraction, stories of personal transformation, or simply looking for a thoughtful cultural experience, The Art of Surrender invites you to pause, connect, and experience the work firsthand.
