The Art of Seeing: Creating Stories in Overlooked Places | Photography Workshop by Mostafa Ahmed
Date: 19 June 2026
Fees: 350 LE
Timing: 3:00 PM - 7:00 PM
Theme: the concept of "Visual Discovery." Rather than capturing traditional street photography or basic documentary shots, the goal is to train the photographer's eye to perceive ordinary locations differently. Participants will learn how to capture cinematic frames filled with soul, depth, and storytelling, focusing on the artistic vision and connection to the space before pressing the shutter button
Location: Ghiyet El Hamam (The Pigeon Towers) at Darb Al Ahmar.

Workshop Outline:
Visual Walk & Talk: We will start with an exploratory tour to observe the location together. We’ll discuss how to break down the space visually and utilize advanced composition elements (such as Layers, Shapes, and Texture) to create cinematic depth within the frame.
Practical Application & Guidance: Participants will shoot freely on location with a focus on capturing intentional, well-thought-out frames. The exercise will guide them to highlight the essence of the place and the human element in an unconventional way.
Review & Critique Session: At the end of the day, each participant will select their single favorite shot (One Final Frame) for a group discussion. The exciting part will be seeing how the exact same location generated completely unique visual perspectives and stories based on each photographer's individual eye.
