Come dance, play, and reconnect with the joy of being alive! Whether you're 5 or 95, there's room for you on the dance floor.
This isn't your ordinary ecstatic dance! This special evening is dreamed up, organized, and led by Natalie, an 8-year-old with a vision of bringing people of all ages together through dance, love, and play!
Ecstatic dance is a free-form movement experience where you can let go of expectations, move however your body feels inspired, and express yourself through music. There are no steps to learn, no right or wrong ways to move, and no need for dance experience. It's a space to be yourself, connect with others, and discover the freedom and joy of movement. Dance wildly, move gently, be silly, be still, or simply enjoy being part of the community.
Expect an evening filled with music, movement, laughter, connection, and a little bit of silliness. We'll have balloons, bubbles, creative spaces, and opportunities to explore movement and play together.
We're excited to welcome Davey Calico, creator of Breathe Feel Heal, as a special collaborator!
Drawing inspiration from Daoist traditions, qigong, and meditation, Davey explores the connection between breath, movement, emotions, and awareness. His Breathe Feel Heal approach encourages us to reconnect with our bodies, release tension, and cultivate a deeper sense of presence and connection.
Davey will guide us through a gentle Qi Gong practice, inviting dancers of all ages to slow down, tune into their bodies, and experience the joy of mindful movement.
