🌲🥁 WHERE THE DRUM MEETS THE FOREST
The Art of Percussive Healing
What happens when rhythm meets nature?
For thousands of years, cultures around the world have used drums and rhythm as medicine. The steady pulse of percussion mirrors the rhythm of the human heart, helping the nervous system settle, the mind quiet, and the body return to balance.
When we drum together, something extraordinary happens.
The vibrational frequencies of percussion move through the body like waves, helping to release tension, stimulate circulation, and shift stagnant energy. In Eastern medicine we describe this as moving Qi—the life-force energy that flows through the body’s energetic pathways.
Rhythm can entrain the brain, calm the stress response, and open space for creativity, joy, and connection.
And when this experience happens in the forest, surrounded by trees and fresh mountain air, the effects are even more profound.

Takeuta Vocal Method Workshop
The Takeuta™ Vocal Method
Ancient Voice, Modern Regulation
Introductory workshop
The Takeuta™ Vocal Method is a structured training in embodied vocal technique for nervous system regulation. Rooted in traditional vocal techniques and informed by modern vocal science, this method teaches you how to cultivate a naturally vibrant, grounded voice — not for performance, but for stability, resonance, and healing presence.
Through breath alignment, posture refinement, and precise vocal placement, you will learn how to produce a steady, resonant tone without strain. This training develops a voice that reflects physiological safety — regulated, supported, and responsive — rather than effortful or performative sound.
**Rooted in Molly’s 40 years of vocal training — including 11 years living in Japan studying traditional Japanese folk song — and grounded in her background in world music and sound healing, Takeuta™ bridges ancient vocal tradition with modern nervous system awareness.
The name Takeuta, meaning “bamboo song,” was given to her by her Japanese traditional folk song and reflects the structural foundation of the method: bamboo is strong yet hollow, allowing air to move through with clarity and minimal resistance. Likewise, the Takeuta™ Vocal Method trains the body to become an aligned, unobstructed channel through which breath transforms into a steady, resonant tone.
This training develops a naturally vibrant, regulated voice through breath alignment, embodiment, and tonal precision — not classical performance technique or stylistic refinement. Students cultivate a grounded, living voice that supports personal regulation and therapeutic presence, allowing sound to arise with steadiness, warmth, and integrity.
