Why it's so hard to put yourself first, and how to change the pattern
About this Event

Do you feel guilty taking time for yourself? Do you find yourself making sure everyone else is okay before thinking about what you need?

You're not alone. Many of us grow up with ideas about what it means to be a "good" person or a good mom, partner, employee, friend, or daughter. Over time, those ideas can become habits we don't even realize we're following. They can affect the choices we make, the stress we carry, and even how our bodies respond to everyday life.

Join chiropractor Dr. Kayla Huntington and life coach Lisa Chadderdon for an interactive workshop exploring why it's so hard to put yourself first and why simply telling yourself to "set better boundaries" usually isn't enough.

You'll learn how these patterns show up in the nervous system and take part in activities that help you recognize the messages you've been living by for years. More importantly, you'll begin learning how to change them.

Whether you often put everyone else first, have a hard time asking for help, or just feel like you're always carrying more than you should, this workshop will help you understand where those patterns come from and give you practical tools to start creating new ones.

You'll leave with a better understanding of yourself, a new way of looking at stress, and simple next steps to help you care for others without losing yourself in the process.
