The Art of Noticing - a creative wellbeing workshop
About this Event
GSA STUDENTS ONLY
Join us together with the GSA Mental Health and Wellbeing Team for a creative wellbeing workshop.
Participants will meet at the picnic benches at Garnethill Park before walking together to Window on Heritage at the Reid building.
The session includes time spent engaging with the collection and participating in creative activities designed to support mental health and wellbeing.
This workshop offers a unique opportunity for students to explore and be inspired by a variety of objects and archival material from the GSA Archives & Collections in a mindful way. Through meditation, journaling, and group discussion, we’ll create a space to reflect on how these practices help us connect with our thoughts, emotions, and sensations.
There is no pressure to share anything, but a space for discussion will be offered for those who would like to. Participants will also have time to journal their experiences and reflect on how the mindfulness practice connects with them personally.
