Join us as we celebrate the art that fuels underground music and culture. From album cover art to protest art, this event showcases visual work tied to the DIY music scene and the defiant spirit of street culture.
THE ART OF MUSIC showcases 15 years of DIY music production from the Personal Archives and Ruix labels, featuring album artwork for vinyl, cassette, and CD, along with tour and show posters. The exhibit also highlights original works by local and regional artists connected to the scene.
Prettyslush + Civil Division: An IndiVISUAL Commentary dives into the intersection of music, street culture, and social change. The artist uses spray paint, acrylics, paint pens, and digital media to explore themes of radical expression, anarchy, and the struggle between freedom and structure. Drawing from punk, graffiti, and skateboarding cultures, their work challenges societal norms and celebrates grassroots creativity.
