Bob Alper, a unique figure in the world of comedy, has built an extraordinary career that combines both spirituality and humor in ways that resonate deeply and captivates audiences with his witty, sophisticated and clean material. His 38 years of experience in stand-up comedy are complemented by his background as an ordained rabbi, which has shaped his distinctive comedic perspective. He also earned his Doctor of Ministry degree from The Princeton Theological Seminary.
Bob’s accomplishments are wide-ranging. He has performed alongside some of the biggest names in comedy, including Lewis Black, Susie Essman, Mo Amer and Freddie Roman.
