🌟 THE STORY: A TRIUMPH OF RESILIENCE
Visionary contemporary artist and Curator/Producer Cristy Corso is bringing a groundbreaking cultural takeover to Downtown Milwaukee.
As a three-time cancer survivor now celebrating nearly two years cancer-free, Corso utilized her art as a lifeline. Channeling the fierce intensity and resilience of Milwaukee Bucks MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo, she fought through aggressive treatments to create her latest masterpiece.
This event marks Corso's official launch of the "Wall of Frame," a vibrant new gallery wall at The Buckler (steps from the Fiserv Forum) dedicated to elevating Milwaukee’s local artist community.
🖼️ THE MASTERPIECE: "Resilience: MVP Giannis"
The Scale: A monumental 7.5’ x 5’ abstract realism original painting.
The Pedigree: The flagship piece of Corso’s acclaimed Surviving Wildest Dreams series, which previously debuted in large-scale formats at Art Basel Miami 2024 to benefit cancer research.
The Innovation: Bridging traditional fine art and the Metaverse. Powered by IAMInteract, the physical canvas is embedded with Augmented Reality (AR). Viewers can scan the artwork with their mobile devices to watch digital storytelling layers deconstruct and orbit the canvas in 3D.

Taking place across The Buckler’s luxury indoor and outdoor event spaces, the evening merges fine art, interactive technology, and Milwaukee sports culture.
The Unveiling: The exclusive premiere and AR activation of the 7.5’ x 5’ “Resilience: MVP Giannis” #SportArt canvas in The Buckler main lobby by artist Cristy Corso.
Also, we’ll also be kicking off the new The Buckler X “Wall of Frame” local artist community galley space for artists to submit & collab.
It will be kicked off Corso also presenting
"Surviving Wildest Dreams: Neo Warriors": A preview of Corso's neon-camouflage futurism series, inspired by her personal experience surviving cancer, which explores themes of trauma and resilience. First Debut Available for collectors.
Special Guest Artist Sabrina Brooks: 2021 Inductee into the Wisconsin Basketball Coaches Association Hall of Fame. Exclusive Launch presenting "Game Over," her brand-new line of basketball court shoe bags.
The Court: A private, indoor mini-basketball court (complete with basketballs) featuring an exclusive digital photo-op experience hosted by Spin Dr. Entertainment.
The Tribute (7:00 PM – 9:00 PM): A special heartfelt screening of the Disney film Rise to honor the Antetokounmpo family's incredible journey.

Driven by the shared experience of losing a father early in life, Corso has tied the emotional weight of this piece directly to community uplift.
The Pledge: 10% of the sale of the original artwork, as well as all digital prints, is proudly dedicated to the Charles Antetokounmpo Family Foundation (CAFF).
The Future: The night serves as a "Local Artist Call," inviting Milwaukee creatives to join live, hybrid Zoom workshops facilitated by IAMInteract to learn how to integrate traditional fine art with AR/VR technology showcases at The Buckler's new public community lobby gallery wall “Wall of Frame”.
