Please note that students must bring their own makeup and tools to fully participate in the hands-on lesson. Perfect for beginners and those wanting to expand their creative toolkit!Visiting Instructor, Samantha Thompson is a versatile creative with a BFA in Theatre: Performance & Production from Texas State University, specializing in special effects makeup. With hands-on experience as a lead makeup artist at Schmitt's Farm Haunt, where she executed over 70 makeup looks in under two hours, and co-founder of Green Veil Productions, she has honed her skills in SFX makeup, set design, and production. Samantha's passion for creative expression extends to teaching, where she has led workshops and mentored aspiring artists. Her expertise in airbrushing, prosthetics, and other techniques, along with her experience in high-pressure environments, makes her an ideal instructor for students eager to learn the art of SFX makeup.
