In an era dominated by digital communication, the handwritten postcard has become a deliberate and uncommon choice. "The Art of Connection" is a free public workshop that invites Hudson community members of all ages to slow down and write to someone who matters to them.
Participants will receive all necessary materials along with a brief guided introduction to simple visual techniques to personalize their cards. The second half of the session is devoted to writing: crafting a message to a neighbor, a family member, or a stranger. Prompts and examples will be on hand for anyone who wants a starting point. Stamps are provided so that every card written during the workshop can be mailed the same day.
