The Art of Bonsai to Find Inner Peace
About this Event
This workshop explores holistic health and healthy ageing through wellness practices.
It will cover the mental and emotional health benefits of the art of bonsai and include a hands-on planting demonstration. The art of bonsai is an ancient Japanese practice of growing and training miniature trees in containers to mimic the aesthetic of mature, aged trees in nature including an opportunity to plant your own bonsai.
This workshop is part of a three-part series of community wellbeing workshops facilitated by Annette Subhani from New Pathways Coaching & Education.
Presented by the City of Stonnington, this initiative reflects Stonnington’s commitment to supporting older people to live healthy and full lives.
