The Aretha Tillotson Quartet

Aretha Tillotson is a JUNO-nominated bassist, band leader, composer, and faculty member at MacEwan University, where she teaches bass and theory. Her debut album, Introducing Aretha Tillotson, won a 2024 Western Canadian Music Award for Jazz Artist of the Year. This concert features her second album, Kinda Out West, which has been nominated for a 2026 JUNO for Jazz Album of the Year. The quartet will feature Kent Sangster (alto sax), Dean McNeill (trumpet), and Eric Zeller (drums).
