The Arc Baltimore's Catalyst for Change Awards

To kick off its yearlong 75th anniversary celebration The Arc Baltimore will hold its Catalyst for Change Awards on Wednesday May 7 from 6:30-8:30 p.m. at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Baltimore North 1726 Reisterstown Road Pikesville MD.

The Catalyst for Change Awards will provide an opportunity for The Arc Baltimore to recognize and say thank you to those individuals who have gone that extra mile in their commitment and service to the organization and those people with developmental disabilities who are recipients of The Arc’s programs and services.

“The Catalyst for Change Awards will honor all of those who have given so much of themselves to support the mission of The Arc Baltimore from community partners and volunteers to staff members people supported by The Arc and other heroes of the organization” says Kathleen McNally Durkin the organization’s Chief Executive Officer.

Since 1949 The Arc Baltimore has been supporting people with developmental disabilities to lead fulfilling lives with a sense of belonging purpose and meaningful relationships. With more than 800 full- and part-time employees The Arc Baltimore provides employment training and support day and residential services family support and education treatment foster care assistive technology services respite care and public policy advocacy.

The Catalyst for Change Awards will feature award presentations for volunteer service professional service public service school inclusion visionary leadership career excellence foster care excellence and advocacy leadership among others.

Emceeing The Catalyst for Change Awards will be former WMAR-TV 2 news anchor Jamie Costello who with his wife Cheryl produce shoot write and edit compelling video narratives through their company CosTELLo YOUR STORY.

Tickets for The Arc Baltimore’s Catalyst for Change Awards are $25 for staff staff retirees and people the organization supports and $50 for all others.
