Bill Moak, APR
Bill Moak, APR, Fellow PRSA, is Chair and Associate Professor of Communication at Belhaven University, where he guides students in preparing for careers in communication. With over three decades of experience, he has worked in public relations across various sectors, including nonprofits and healthcare. Bill is a recognized leader, having served as president of PRAM Central and earning accolades such as PRAM’s Advanced Professional of the Year in 2023. He and his wife, Lori, are active members of Broadmoor Baptist Church, where he volunteers in the media ministry.


Chrystelle Thames, APR
Chrystelle Thames, APR, is the Director of Communications for The Baptist Children’s Village (BCV). She holds a bachelor of science and master of science degree in Communications from Mississippi College and has served on multiple boards, including PRAM and Southern Public Relations Federation (SPRF). Additionally, she advocates for children through several local organizations and leads the Prayer Ministry Team at Morrison Heights Baptist Church. As a BCV alumna, she brings valuable perspective to her role.


Matt Westerfield, APR
Matt Westerfield, APR, is the Director of Communications at the Mississippi Division of Medicaid, where he has worked for 11 years. He has a bachelor’s degree in English from Mississippi College and earned his Accreditation in Public Relations in 2017. An active member of PRAM Central since 2010, he has held various leadership roles, including chapter president and current president of PRAM State.


Sophie McNeil Wolf, APR
Sophie McNeil Wolf, APR, is a seasoned communications professional with two decades of experience in storytelling and strategic communications. Currently the Director of Communications and Insights for the Community Foundation for Mississippi, she has previously worked with various organizations to promote community and quality of life. Wolf holds a bachelor's degree in journalism and a master's in integrated marketing communications, along with a graduate certificate in economic development. She is also a Past President of the Public Relations Association of Mississippi and co-creator of the media brand Find It In Fondren, which showcases Jackson’s arts district.
