March Apothecary Book Club Gathering
The Message:
As we move into March, it’s time to celebrate the chemistry of our dedicated inner circle! This month, we are stepping away from a required book purchase and moving into a season of shared wisdom, creative expression, and connection.
Step 1: The Digital Archive (Online Participation)
Since we aren't purchasing a new book this month, the "entry fee" is your unique insight. Select a book from your own library shelf that has truly spoken to you (or continue your deep-dive into our February selection). In our Facebook Group, please share:
Your Selected Lore: Introduce us to your book! Share a short summary of what it’s about and why it earned a spot on your shelf.
The Alchemist’s Note: Identify one specific "remedy" from those pages—a quote, a recipe, or a ritual—that acts as a "fix" for the group.
Step 2: The Soirée (In-Person Social)
Join us at the apothecary for a night of pure connection. No books are required at the shop!
The Feast: In lieu of a book fee, please bring your favorite appetizer to share with the circle.
The Community Remedy Index: We are building our first collective "Apothecary Manual." Please print out your share on a sheet of paper to bring with you. We will have a vintage binder and clear sleeves ready so you can file your wisdom into our permanent library.
The Alchemist’s Exchange 🎨: Along with your binder page, please bring one Handmade Offering to swap. This could be a handwritten letter, a small sachet of herbs, or a handmade bookmark. We will be swapping these so everyone leaves with a piece of the circle’s collective wisdom.
The Mortar & Pestle Raffle: Every member who contributes to the Archive and the Exchange earns a ticket for our botanical giveaways!
How to Prepare Your Index Page
We want our binder to reflect the unique voice of every seeker. When preparing your printed page, share whatever your energy calls to: a favorite quote, a compelling storyline, a summary, a recipe, or a personal insight. You can create your own reflection or share directly from the pages of your book—this is your space to contribute to our living library.
Sip & Social: Bring your page, your offering, and your appetizer to the shop. We’ll toast to our circle while we assemble our new "Living Library."
