Middle School Success Workshop: Skills for a Strong Start
Middle school is an exciting new chapter, but it also comes with greater responsibility, higher expectations, and new challenges. Give your student the confidence and skills they need to make a successful transition.
During this interactive 2-hour workshop, students will learn practical strategies to stay organized, manage their time, set achievable goals, and develop effective study habits. We'll also cover test-taking strategies, explain what it really means to study, and teach students how to communicate with teachers and confidently advocate for themselves when they need help.
Students will learn:
- Time management strategies
- Goal setting and planning
- Organization skills for assignments and materials
- Effective study habits and techniques
- Test-taking strategies
- Communication and self-advocacy with teachers
By the end of the workshop, students will leave with practical tools, increased confidence, and a personalized plan to start middle school organized, prepared, and ready to succeed.
Who should attend: Students entering middle school (grades 6–8).
