The Annual Juneteenth Cookout and Commemoration Program
About this Event
Known as Emancipation Day and Freedom Day, Juneteenth is a national USA Holiday where we celebrate the end of legalized slavery in America for Black Americans and others of African descent. It is integral to American history and sets forth a path of remarkable achievements in America's development. We honor this day for many reasons, the least of which is people coming together to not only honor a significant day in our Country's history but to also engage people in activities that should help with the future development of our society.
