The Animator's Clubhouse

Psst. Hey, you.

You're an animator, right?

Did you know you're not alone?

There are lots of people like you, and we can learn from and help each other! That's why we meet at The Animator's Clubhouse. It's a once a month secret meetup and we got a patented three step process to make you a better animator:

1. First we watch some animation--classics, movies, cartoons, anime, experiments--and some exclusive behind the scenes featurettes.

2. Next we analyze and dissect what we saw to try to figure out how it works. Bring your own drawing equipment, use our pencils and paper, or borrow an iPad from IMAC to get started!

3. Then it's time for show and tell! Get up on the big screen and strut your stuff, or just show support for your fellow artists.

It's a secret club, but anyone can join. We pay a few bucks to keep the lights on, but financial aid is available, because animation is for everyone!

Oh, and fair warning--the secret handshake requires the ability to squash-and-stretch!

*This is a sophisticated event for ages 13 and up, but exceptions can be made by instructor approval.
