River Gallery is excited to present “The Animal Show!”, a lively and heartwarming group exhibition honoring our beloved animal companions through diverse and engaging artistic expression. The show opens with a public reception on Saturday, September 20th from 3 to 6 PM and will remain on view through November 22, 2025.This delightful exhibition features work by Greg Murray, Nicole Bruckman, and the mother-daughter duo Sharon Sheinbart & Annie Becker. Each artist brings a distinct and heartfelt perspective to the subject of animals—ranging from soulful photography to whimsical paintings and sculptures.
• Greg Murray uses his love of photography and animals to capture the unique charm and personality of his subjects. His portraits, whether of domestic pets or wild creatures, invite smiles and connection.
• Nicole Bruckman creates vibrant and imaginative paintings that often depict animals stacked in playful compositions. Her work celebrates the affection, loyalty, and joy that only animals can bring.
• Sharon Sheinbart sculpts expressive animal figures in clay, highlighting a wide variety of breeds and species, each full of personality.
• Annie Becker constructs whimsical sculptural assemblages using found objects and storytelling flair. She and her mother Sharon frequently collaborate, blending ceramic elements with mixed media to create charming, one-of-a-kind pieces.
All of the artists in “The Animal Show are passionate advocates for rescue dogs.
